Still Life 1
I drink tea often, and usually in a large to-go coffee mug. This scene was created as a tribute to my extremely uninteresting tea-drinking experiences. These photographs express the sophistication of tea drinking that I do not possess. I set the photograph up in circles. The circles of the orange slices complements the circular teacup and the placemat in the background gives the entire photograph a satisfying roundness to it. The chocolate crumbs were placed in a neat disoray on the plate for a natural feel to the scene. Finally the light source falls on the orange slices bringing out the glisten of the glazed sugar on top.
